Circle from Finland

Circle are one of my favourite bands, but also ridiculously prolific. I struggle to keep up with their releases, although I have managed to get hold of most of their stuff over the years. Trouble is, a lot of their albums come out as vinyl- or cassette-only and I currently do not have the means to play these formats. So I have a steadily growing pile of Circle and related releases that I can't play! This was exacerbated by the arrival this morning from Finland of their new cassette "Live In London". I was wondering if anyone on here has digital versions (perhaps home grifts) of any of these albums that they'd be prepared to send me:

"Mountain" (LP) - this was recorded years ago in Leeds. I was at the gig I finally tracked down a copy on ebay a couple of years since. But it remains unplayed!

"Suur-Pori" (Cas)

"Six Day Run" (LP)

"SSEENNSSEESS" (LP)

"Hukkaamiskielto" (Cas)

"6000 km/h" (LP)

"Live In London" (Cas)

"Surface" (LP) - Re-issue of a 90s live split with Marble Sheep, but missing the MS half

"End of Time" (7")

"Kumiluoti" (7")

Plus:

Pharaoh Overlord/Grails split (LP)

Pharaoh Overlord - "6000 km/h" (LP)

Pharaoh Overlord - "Overhorn" (Cas)

In other Circle news, I'm hoping to catch them in Bradford on Friday, and then going down to London to see Pharaoh Overlord at Raw Power on Saturday. Sadly don't think I'll be able to stay in London on the Sunday to see Circle again in the evening.

Saw em' in Birmigham last night, they were apsolutely fantastic and hilarious in equal measure. Mikka Ratto's onstage persona is to die for, mucking about, haming it up and generally having a blast. The set was a prog metal opus complete with ham metal costumes and full metal posturing, superb.

They've a well stocked merch table at reasonable prices, so you'll get most of your list fer cheap compaired to numerous record shop outlets, plus you get to buy from Circle themselves, great fellas!!.

LP's were £13, 7" a fiver and CD's a tenner. T-shirts were £13.

All bargains!

Recorded the gig, though sound is a bit shitty, but will post it somewhere once it's 'transposed'.

Supports Hey Colossus and Opium Lord were great too.

I didn't know about this. Darn... That said, I did find myself having to work a bit late.

Hey! I was at the Brumgig lat night too, all three bands were ace. Would heartily recommed the new Opium Lord album, great stuff.

Circle were ludicrously entertaining, no shame at all!

Hey, if I'd have known Id have bought you a pint!.
Yeah, Hey Colossus were a real eye opener, seem to remember that I didn't like them on record, but live, wow, they were great. Opium Lord were ace in a Godflesh/Grindcore kinda way too.
Will let you know when I put the gig up for DL (tho my recording isn't great).

As to Circle, if only all bands were as entertaining live. Seen them about 5 or times now, and every time has been different. Luuurve them feckers to death!

Had my AMT T-shirt on last night from the first time I saw Circle support them from back in 2001, was surprised when I dug it out how long ago it was.

That's funny. Did you happen to complement someone else for wearing an Acid Mothers t-shirt as they were stood near the bar upstairs fiddling with their phone?

If so it was me!

They were great in Bradford on Friday night too - as good as ever. I think a lot of the crowd were quite new to them and they went down really well. Mika was on top form.

I travelled down to see them as Pharaoh Overlord in London on Saturday and they were nearly, but not quite as good. It wasn't a headline set so it was shorter, and the track listing wasn't one I'd have gone for. That said, it was still the best thing on that day, and the version of Revolution at the end was mint. Very sad I couldn't stick around to see them revert back to Circle for the Sunday night.

I hadn't heard them before, but thoroughly enjoyed Pharaoh Overlord at Raw Power. Similarly I couldn't hang around for Sunday to see Circle more is the pity. Will definitely check them out in future if I get a chance. I loved the kneeling/lining up choreography - haha! Wish I'd plundered the merch stall now, I was too intent on watching all the bands to bother.

I'd disagree it was the best thing on that day mind you - both Sex Swing and Earthless were bloody great!
