I'm going to see SWANS in a few weeks at The Roundhouse. £25 is a reasonable fare. Not only are we priced out of housing in London, we are priced out of gigs too.


I saw Neil Young with Crazy Horse ( best name for a band ever) in Sheffield, way back. Been to lots of gigs but that was transcendent. The way they huddle together when they're getting down & that beautiful filling up spaces voice. But Nick Cave, I feel enabled to scream & cry in his presence. Oh dear too much wine.
