They've always loved to play my town but now they're playing at the Highland Park Bowl and I can hardly wait. The Lilac Festival has been a continuous tradition here, when the lilacs are in bloom -- it's particularly a beautiful sight at Highland Park. That's why Rochester is known as the Flower City (although it actually used to be known as the "Flour City" having been a largely agricultural hub before Kodak made it more of a boomtown...)

Sounds wonderful!
Lilacs in bloom, Psychedelic Furs and I spy Cracker on the headliners list too. Colour me jealous of Cornwall!

The Psychedelic Furs were great -- much better than the two times I saw them as Love Spit Love. Only dissapoint was they played nothing from the first album, but they did play Mrs. Jones (wait... was that from the first one or just a single?) and I Just Want To Sleep with You (one of their more pointed songs lyrically). Even weaker songs like Heartbreak Beat sounded better live, Richard Butler's voice still sounded great and a lot of people from Rochester's old music scene came out for this. It almost got canceled due to a thunderstorm a couple of hours earlier but everyone lucked out and saw a good show.
