New Series of Twin Peaks in 2016

Was reading yesterday's I which had a reference to a new series of Twin Peaks. Sure enough with a bit of rummaging about on google it is true:

Am very excited about the prospect. The story is about 3 weeks old, so apologies if this is old news for peeps, but this was the first I heard of it.

Wahoo! I heard rumours earlier this year, things like the cast dropping hints at conventions and reunions, but when they amounted to a load of hot air I figured that was it for the Peaksverse, but here it is...a BBC article confirming it and everything!

By the way, Lynch and most of the cast did a show called On The Air right after filming Twin Peaks which, for the two bookending eps Lynch directed at least, are right up there with the peak Peaks. They're some of the funniest things I've ever seen on television, and they do for gaudy '50s television what Twin Peaks did for Soap Operas.

Here are those two eps. The others might be worth a watch, but they're pretty smegging ropey by comparison with the Lynch ones:

I had a dream last night I ran into Prince and he had just bought a blu-Ray of the Complete Twin Peaks. I was about to start asking him what he thought of the reboot, when my wife decided to pull the covers off me, exposing me to the chilly air and waking me up. I suppose, we'll never know how if Prince is excited or not.
