Peter Perrett is now booked for Hebden Bridge Trades Club on January 29th, and Caldervalium is one very happy bunny. Now all they need to do is get Amon Duul II, Rudimentary Peni and Roky Erickson (not necessarily all on the same night).

What a fantastic night that was. All the Only Ones classics ably despatched, and some great new material premiered. Best of all, Peter was obviously in a great mood.

Cool. Was it a one-man show or did he have additional musicians?

I noticed The Only Ones announced a gig in Bristol in July. Was waiting for some more. Been cancelled, though

I think the Japan dates featured a different drummer and Perret's son on additional guitar

The band comprised three-quarters of the (excellent) support band Strangefruit, including Peter's two sons on bass and lead guitar. Sounded just like the Only Ones, note for note perfect. As far as I understand it the Only Ones themselves are gigging later in the year, though I'm not sure if Kellie's still there on drums.
