I could certainly mention all manner of Dark Ambient music like Halo Manash, or the dirty, voyeuristic feeling one gets listening to Peter Hammill's Over, or the terrifying primitive electronic burblings of Kluster (the religious texts only make them sound more ominous), the extant work of soon-to-be-victims of suicide like Yanka Dyagileva, or evil, operatic Martial Industrial artists like Helga Pogatschar, but they all sound like wan conniption fits compared to Penderecki's Threnody to the Victims of Hiroshima.
