I've just heard that top US session guitarist Dick Wagner has died. I don't have any details. His work with Alice Cooper and Lou Reed was awesome. R.I.P.

I have a live album of his 60's band The Frost which is great. I also have the album of his early 70's band Ursa Major. Unfashionably thumping great (nearly six minutes)ballad about the redemptive power of the love of a good woman. I'm a sucker for this kind of thing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJipeC65E8M From previous threads I was the only one not left nauseous by a power ballad. Apologies. Bye Dick. It was a good job you didn't go to a British school with that name.
