Cheers KC, will look into that. Might be some names to put forward for the similar-styled semi-regular Birmingham based night I go to.

Ah, I did mean to post a follow up, but tried not to get overly self involved ;)

Overall it went really well and I very much enjoyed myself. There was a decent crowd and no-one left halfway through. Got some really great comments from people, including some muso types (which as a non-muso making it up as I went, was surprising and appreciated). Lots of places to improve/change for the future - check other acts haven't unplugged you by mistake, don't be afraid to turn it up... Put the second half on soundcloud (first bit was too quiet, middle bit contained a lot of duff notes that I got away with at the time with a stack of reverb). The bit I've kept was a bit more improv than I wanted because I ran out of my plan before my tape cues appeared! Link below for those interested:
