I read an article on Stereogum entitled ‘Sonic Youth Albums From Worst To Best’. This came top and as it’s never been mine I thought I’d give it whirl. I enjoyed it but it’s still not my fave!

Interesting countdown, but TBH, all my fav SY albums seem to be ranked the lowest six on the list. 'NYC Ghosts and Flowers' and 'Bad Moon Rising' being my fav' two. With the exception of EVOL, they seem to prefer the more accessible side of SY. Can't say I ever really enjoyed 'Sister', though I guess all the albums have a few outstanding moments.
