Keith Jarrett's "Spheres", "Odin", Black Tempest, the pre Cope Spaceship Mark recordings, "50 Words For Snow" and the ECM Arvo Part records have all provided a very effective soundtrack to selectively deleting many 1000s of mp3s off of my hard drive. Junking all the records that have been waiting for me to get around to them has felt pretty good. If I can get my domestic collection down to around 500 pieces of vinyl and their digital equivalents then that will free up a lot of head space for other things.
