I agree the follow up album was pretty weak (nice art though!) but, following a line-up shuffle, the subsequent self titled album was way better than I thought it was gonna be IMO. Worth a punt I'd say.

Elegy for Beach Friday is a bit of a stunner imho. Not so taken with the other one but not played it as much yet.

BTW Supernormal Recordings arrived safely today so just having a quick blast before bed and its sounding (and looking!) mighty fine. Looking forward to a good listen over the week.

You know, I've never actually heard Windy and Carl. Have been to their shop though.

I love Windy & Carl. I've reviewed them twice in Unsung, as they are a truly overlooked act. Wish they'd come and play in the UK again - it's been too long. Maybe I'll have to go to Dearborn, Michigan and visit them in their shop.
