I just tried to get onto the Aztec label website www.aztecmusic.net and my server can't find the site. Is that just me having a faulty server or is the site gone/down? Shame, if it has gone, it was doing pretty quality work on restoring Australian psych, prog & rock to pristine sound with nice packaging. Stevo

http://www.aztecrecords.com.au/ I thought the label had gone bellyup since the change of address. Certainly hadn't heard anything about new product from them in a few years. Then read the review of Ariel in the new Ugly Things which I got yesterday. That review had the URL for the label. It also has Blackfeather's At The Mountains Of Madness advertised on the site which i know they had planned a few years ago then had to scupper because the band's guitarist objected. Glad to see that that's been worked out. Aztec have been doing things from mastertapes in nice packaging so this should be a better version than the previous Akarma one. THey also have cds by Coloured Balls, Lobby LLoyde solo, Khavas Jute, Taman Shud, Spectrum and a number of other Australian bands from the early 70s and punk eras. A label worth looking into if you haven't previously. Stevo P.S. forgot the name Buffalo who Aztec did some superlative editions of lps by.

Great label. Ditto, I thought they had wound up/down. Good to know they're still going. Just got the new Ugly Things mag a few days ago too. Need to dig in. Been putting off opening it up, as it always costs me significant dough on records whenever I read a new one!

Pretty good issue as always. There's a new Flashback! next week too. Which incidentally has Antipodean Rock from 60s/early 70s as its top 50 feature.
