Bullied off ??
That's not nice !!

*hump*
Not happy about that.

It's a pain, but most of the people I like on there (and I do like them a lot!) I added on that there FaceBook, so it's not a massive loss! Usually only go over there before gigs to see who'll be there. My bloke (the Random one...) is on there more than me though, so if there's anything interesting he can tell me about it!

MISSION OF BURMA are making their Madison debut in 2010 (already saw them back in 2002 immediately after the reunion, amazing to think they've already doubled their original 1979-1983 run!)

What did you think of them before? I saw them at the Scala about five years ago, and it was the best show by a reformed band that I've ever seen, no contest. They kicked more ass than a good deal of bands half their age.

Indeed! I like him because he's easy to locate in crowds!

Yeah I saw them in Mpls in 2002, first tour after the reunion -- amazing, and there weren't even that many people there! I talked to Roger for a bit afterwards, and Peter was also hanging around (Conley stayed hidden backstage.)

In other exciting news, there is a slim chance of JEX THOTH opening for that PENTAGRAM show?! (Which would be the first ever live Jex Thoth gig!) They'll be in town recording their next album, though apparently there are "contract issues" with adding another band to the bill. Probably too cool to really happen . . . B-)

Glastonbury booked as usual.

Hoping to see Mastodon in February, possibly in Bristol as a mate is moving down there and some big birthdays are coiinciding with that. I hope it comes off 'cos apparently they are playing the Crack The Skye album in its entirety on this tour.

KISS is booked for May and I can't wait for that. Best sell a kidney so I can buy lots of silly merch.

Wish list would be:
Kate Bush (unlikely. Bah!)
Cope and/or Black Sheep to do something, preferably somewhere nearer this time.
Astra
Blood Ceremony.
Loads I'd like to see really.

I'm seeing Mastodon in Notts and cannot wait.
I've been spinning Crack The Skye loads, and it gets better with every listen.
A huge, Bombastic, Progriffery of an album, and i loves it.

Astra make their UK debut at the Scala in London, on April 14th.
Support from Diagonal, and Litmus.
I really want to try and make this gig, as i love all the bands on the bill, with the Weirding being in my top 3 albums from last year!

only one thing booked so far, terrible, i've got more theatre tickets!

Future of the Left tho, they will be utterly fantastic. May go and see Vivian Girls in Leeds the night before.

Hopefully I'll get tickets for Green Man and at least one ATP festival as well.

Other than that, I wanna see Sleepy Sun, Cud & a good Fall gig.
