Head Heritage's top 20 or so 00-09' era picks

After seeing all the comments about that top 150 albums list, i thought why not start a thread about what we here think are the best releases of this decade. To keep it relevant, and not too difficult, I figure on picking 20 to 25 of your personal top picks that were actually recorded this decade.
I NEVER bought a CD till 1998....a late bloomer i guess. But since then till now, i've accumulated about 1000 of em'. Here's my picks that got me thinking, Rocking, or Zoning out blissfull.....

The Fire Theft 2003

The Soundtrack of our lives {everything so far, particulary though : Behind the Music 2002 and Origin 2005}

Soundtrack:Oh Brother where art thou? 2000

Kate Bush: Ariel 2005

PJ Harvey: {Everthing, i bought her entire catalog this decade}

Johnette Napolitano: Scarred 2007

Graham Coxon: Love travels at illegal speeds. 2006 {and all his other solo stuff too.}

Joanna Newsom: The Milk-eyed Mender 2004

Queens of the stone age:Songs for the deaf 2002 {i like all there stuff too}

Mark Lanegan Band: Bubblegum 2004

Levon Helm:Dirt Farmer 2007

Rodney Crowell: Fate's right hand 2003

John Hiatt: Crossing Muddy Water 2000

Vashti Bunyan: Lookaftering 2005
