that stuff is produced far too slick for me, like pretty much every other watered down, extra sugar added P-Funk release of the past three decades.
a shame.

It's certainly an album I cherry pick from, some of it is dated and sounds very much of the early 90's, but that track with Eddie Hazel I mentioned is one of many reasons he still remains my all-time favourite electric guitarist, he sure channels something of extreme beauty on it and unlike some of the other stuff on there it's timeless too.

Axiom Funk - Funkcronomicon (mainly Eddie Hazel's "Pray My Soul" which rivals "Maggot Brain" imho)

Graham Nash- Songs for Beginners.

Van Der Graaf Generator- H to He Who Is The Only One.

The Outside Royalty- All Nights Out.

David Bowie- Stage.

David Bowie- Lodger.

Iggy Pop- The Idiot.

Iggy Pop- Nuggets (double album comp of mostly live odds and sods- some good stuff, but mainly worth having for the 3 studio tracks produced by Ric Ocasek in 1983, apparently featuring Ministry's Al Jourgensen on guitar! Also a couple of Blah Blah Blah outtakes, and the Stooges I Got A Right / Gimme Some Skin 7" tracks).

The Monkees- The Birds, the Bees and the Monkees. In which some of their most psychedelic songs rub up against some of their most cloyingly twee.

The Witch and the Robot- On Safari. Checked out after reading reccomendations on here- it's a bit whimsical for my tastes, but much to like.

Portishead- Third.

Drugstore- White Magic for Lovers.

Yazoo- You and Me Both.

Haircut 100- Pelican West.

LCD Soundsystem- Sound of Silver.

Brian Eno & David Byrne- My Life In The Bush of Ghosts.
