LP’S VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO – Beck Not totally convinced by all of this, but there’s some good interpretations here, inc a lovely Sunday Morning. The version of Run Run Run – the first Velvets tracks I ever heard! – is fun, too. PORTSMOUTH 1977 – The Damned FAMILY TREE – Nick Drake Can’t believe I’d not got this 2007 release till now. Love the beautiful piano based version of Way To Blue. OCEAN RAIN – Echo & the Bunnymen ARE YOU MISSING WINNER – The Fall I've been failing in my ‘Play a Fall record every week’ new years resolution of late so I thought I should put it right. Crop-Dust is fab! My latest fave ever Fall track!! KISS IN THE DREAMHOUSE – Siouxsie & the Banshees TAPE – Two Daughters 45’s DON’T TALK TO EM ABOUT LOVE – Altered Images SHOT BY BOTH SIDES – Magazine WHITE RABBIT / THANKS FOR THE NIGHT – The Damned JUSTICE – Paul Haig DEATH DISCO - PIL HUMANOID – Stakker STAY YOUNG – Ultra Sound I hadn’t heard this in years but it sounds fab. “Gary Glitter’s gone to seed, so who will lead us now?” Indeed!!

I'm just thinking that wherever the people are nowadays who did this 'short-run' tape, I wonder if they realise that there are people listening to it (who are unconnected to them) nearly 30 years after it was made? =8-o

Wasn't there a Two Daughters album on United Daries? I think it was released under the name Anthony and Paul...

(I can't find it at the moment).

There was this I found, but not the one I was looking for.... http://atlantisaudioarchive.blogspot.com/2007/02/two-daughters-cassette-methane-music.html i.e. see comments below the write up- Nicky Rogers and friends, Nicky Rogers being the chap who played Guitar on NWW's debut 'Chance Meeting...' LP and then the debate about whether it was Simon Fisher-Turner or not- quite a story for such a minimal sound!
