Well I already knew the hit record in England on my birthday was "Sunny Afternoon" by the Kinks (the American hit being the less interesting "Strangers in the Night" by Frank Sinatra of course, not to mention the hit album was another elevator-music 'classic' the Sound of Music...) But what I didn't know is that I share a birthday with Peter Murphy from Bauhaus(!) How about that...
