I'm just waiting for someone to say they share a birthday with Stuart Adamson, so I can say "Stuart Adamson was a big country member?"

Album? "New Morning" - Bob Dylan (cool enough). Single? "I Hear You Knocking" - Dave Edmunds. (not quite so cool, but at least it wasn't "All Kinds of Everything".)

The Number 1 single was: Roy Orbison - "Only The Lonely (Know How I Feel)" The Number 1 album was: Original Soundtrack - "South Pacific" The also born list is seriously unimpressive! 1921 - Georges Brassens ( One of French pop's most poetic songwriters ) 1968 - Orville Richard Burrell ( better known as Shaggy ) 1985 - Zac(hary Walker) Hanson ( drummer and youngest of the three Hanson brothers ) ...though I believe it's also the same day as Lesley West (Mountain) and Arsene Wenger.
