hey. thought a few people here may be interested in this : Sonic Sanctuary all dayer on Saturday March 14th 2009. Doors at 2pm. http://www.myspace.com/sonicsanctuary lineup: Zun Zun Egui joyous "tropical thrash" from everywhere. (gringo records) Teeth Of The Sea head melting sound manipulation, glowering trumpets, abstract rhythms make hypnotic sonic monoliths. (rocket recordings) Team Brick a multi instrumental show of unique range and power.. equal parts intense, demonic and beautiful. (invada records) Gnod rhythm, drone and cosmic psych collective from Manchester. Headfall lo-fi hiss and crackle, strung out instrumentals, edged out spoken word and deep space grooves. Geisha a skree of fuzzed out guitars and voice, blissful misanthropic hell noise. (crucial blast / blood red sounds / super-fi records) The Haiku "cheery" folk rock from Trowbridge veterans Hell Death Fury Melkshican punk from a bunch of jerks who used to be in Nishe / Post No Bills Don Bear a rare performance of warm, dark brilliance and beautiful songs of fuzzy fear. Ice Bird Spiral Hades based improv noise-scapes, droning satellites and rattling space debris. (ecstatic yod / funeral folk / MYMWLY / scumbag tapes) Deej Dhariwal explosive colours from Thought Forms guitarist solo-style. It’s in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. bump! this is two weeks away now and all the £5 tickets have sold out but there are still 6 quid advance tickets available. worth the trek, believe! the building is friggin amazing as well as the lineup!
