I remember when watching one of those list programmes about the top-selling records of 1980 (I think it was) when Stuart Maconie said the ents officer at his Uni had almost been lynched after he had the choice of putting on either Echo & the Bunnymen or Liquid Gold. Guess which one he picked? This seems to be turning into the "I Hate the 80s" thread. |
