The video for Cash's version of Hurt probably can't be topped. It's much more than just a music video. So excluding that, then damn near any Bjork video could be my "favourite" on a given day. But the video I'm going to link to is my favourite from the past year. And that's Nick Cave's Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! video. Partly because Cave is sporting the best moustache in popular music today, but mostly because having seen this video, when this song comes on my walkman it's literally impossible for me not to strut along to it. Best 'tache and best strut... a winning combo in my book. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kV5XkBQsKU (oh, and the video for Julian's Planetary Sit-In is also a personal fave, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that a bunch of my mates are in it)

My favourite of all the ones I shot. Filmed over one day in a studio in an old victorian building by the canal in Camden mid nineties. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=SPH4_DDDz8Q

Chris Cunningham's a nice chap, very imaginative. Told he how he must learn about lenses when I worked with him on a Madonna one.

Music is for ears. Videos are stupid. That said, I do have some favorite clips of bands playing live or goofing around for film but, for the most part, I detest videos and most bands that have anything to do with them. My fave footage - The Stooges and peanut butter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BD_XCECbAEU

I enjoyed both of them. Must dig out the albums for the rain.

Nice use of simple lighting, playing with the cross fades. Lovely, LA. What else have you worked on?
