The Glee Club in Brum is a fine place to see bands. Especially this sort of thing as the stage isn't particularly high and folk can get up close and personal.
I'll stick this one on the Calamity Calendar. √

Mate of mine keeps raving about this lot and telling me I need go see them. Every time Duke Spirit play I havwe to aask if that's who he means. So, imagine how cheesed of I was when I spotted this conflicts with the Nick Harper gig. Guess what: IT'S THE SAME GIG!!!!. Yay!

I suspect it'll be the Celtic Connections scheduling pixies. I think they pull the names out a hat. (Although Edwyn Collins & The Bluebells sounds good.)
