"123 Soleils" the live Cheb Khaled / Faudel / Rachid Taha record from 1999 is pretty great. Steve Hillage produced it.

I went to an incredible Arc record fair at the RAI Amsterdam in ol' 2004. Does this count? I don’t care whether it does or not because, hey, Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I’m still recovering!

Well, I guess you have to start with the king of rai, Khaled. The live album Hafla is a personal favourite. Diwan and Diwan 2 by Rachid Taha are both excellent and I also really like Meli Meli by Cheb Mami.
