It was. Frank's ex-wife Gail claimed Reed's induction was just showbiz nicey-niceyness on behalf of two people who never liked nor understood each other.

I'm sure FZ would have refused to be a party to any of this puerile nonsense of 'halls of fame' whilst he was alive.
Its like christian hymns sung in church because there may be argued a case that the church considers God a little insecure
