How the heck did they turn a 6-song EP into a double album????

I'm pretty dubious of any reissue these days, especially if it's the "definitive" issuance of a record that's already been re-issued in multiple different configurations. This is at least the 3rd repackaging of this band's back catalog that I know of.

None of the previous reissues included anything that hadn't already appeared either as a b-side or on the Taang! LP's ("Forget" and "Peking Spring", which came out back in the late 80's I believe.)

And I wouldn't consider rough mixes or rehearsal versions of the same songs to be "bonus" tracks (more like a "penalty!")

Agreed. I Think I'll stick with the Rykodisc versions. The two official studio albums are better than all those outtakes compilations anyway IMO.

I do find it amusing that according to the Matador website, even Justin Timberlake has discovered them now though!
