If you don't believe me about FOTS, then give it another whirl (crank it up). It's by far the best and most consistent of all the BJ albums. Produced by the band too, so there are ZERO production frills either. Song-wise, OK it's hardly Hook City, but FOTS's overall Vibe is extremely In-the-Red, and Devil-May-Care and Raucous. Classic DC, indeed. Also, at around this time, Angus's hair was at its longest ever length. SURELY THIS ALONE MUST COUNT FOR SOMETHING??

i love a bit of Flick too
and you're right. Ang's hair in 183/83/85 was at its longest
so thats an extra 2 points in my book

I know Back In Black is always thought of as overproduced, but when it comes out of my great big JBL's in the living room, I is in HEAVEN!
It just sounds like how it must feel to drive off a cliff.
Having said that I like...

Back In Black - bar LMPMLIY is a classic rock n roll record
the riffs are as good as ever, the bands cooking and BJ sounds great
riffs - even for AC/DC don't come much better than the title track. EVER!
