Or perhaps he SOLD Jez. He was already trussed up ready for delivery, afterall. I bet Phil Oakey bought him, and now employs him in a dungeon-like subterranean room, to file his collection of steam locomotive and erotic Victorian postcards into shoeboxes with appropriate chronological labeling. Or something.

Think October looks to be The Boredoms at the Barfly - though I think a friend has a spare for Shack at the same venue, which might be before? Fiery Furnaces at the same venue - further on, Wilco at Birm academy and SFA at the new one in Oxford. When's Richard Thompson playing? Probably him too and isn't it time the Fall toured again? Both Battles and Explosions in the Sky are doing the rounds and Michael Gira is playing that odd venue in a small basement in Coventry where they serve great potent beer...
