Yeah, good album. Not keen on the opening track, Shrine..., that is so popular with a lot of people. Personally I think he sounds like he's getting worked up over nothing. But King Minos is a great stomp, The Way Luv Is is lovely, and Eccentrifugal Force is truly fab.

I'm not big on Rome but like all the Rites especially Rite Now. Bastard would be my second choice though they are all worthwhile especially if you are a Spacerock or Miles Davis fan and you just want to get carried off on a big wave of sound.

go for Rome! Best Cope album around between 1996 and 2006
-probably with the exception of RITE NOW.

Actually, I thought Bastard was the best! And I think many agree with that, they are all good though...
Rome is ok, half great, half not so great but it's a grower, I like it more everytime i put it on

I thought Bastard was the worst Rite cd. One track really isn't that good which is unfortunate when there's only two tracks on it.
The other one is really good, mind! ; )

Thank you Jane, but now I'm getting confused about what to buy first. Was going all out for '...Rome', but the Rite camp are coming on strong with a late surge! I think I need a considerable scratch card win.
