UK all the way! From the grimy depths of Warrington. I'd show you my Myspace but it's just embarrassing...So embarrassing I might as well have Lily Allen as my profile song ;-p

I don't buy the whole Guilty Pleasures notion and suggest Sean Rowley is an overpaid burglar of turds. Really, if you like something then you like it - which is the vibe that I get from Mr Cope's comments on Kiss vs New York Dolls. This is why people should never ditch the crap that doesn't adhere to some top 100 Q/Mojo/NME list of rhetorically approved muzak. Still...I'll play along, just don't expect me to feel guilty!: *I Can't Go for That (No Can Do), Hall & Oates *Mama, Genesis *I Love You Suzanne, Lou Reed *Captain Jack, Billy Joel *Head Over Heels, The Go Gos (I still think the Go Gos gig I went to in the 1990s is probably one of the most enjoyable...) *Time Will Crawl, David Bowie *More, The Sisters of Mercy *The Flame, Arcadia *Warriors, Gary Numan *That Was Then...But This is Now, ABC *The Voice, Ultravox *Musclebound, Spandau Ballet *Fortress Around Your Heart, Sting *Don't Need a Gun, Billy Idol *Love Removal Machine, The Cult *She's a Woman, BEF/Green Gartside *I Can't Tell the Bottom from the Top, Kevin Rowland *Pour Some Sugar on Me, Def Leppard *Psychonaut, Fields of the Nephilim (though it is basically HP Lovecraft vs. Two Tribes?) etc

Not underrated in my mind, Lupus. The Sweet were the soundtrack to my childhood, and definitely my favourite group during the formative years age 8-11 or so. (up until their Love is like Oxygen period, although Fox on the Run was OK........) Watching Life On Mars the other night, a Sweet song was in the soundtrack & it struck me how great a singer Brian Connolly was. A shame he had such an undignified end.
