Sad news indeed, as J-HP rightly said without Uwe they'd be no Faust and for that alone I'm grateful to him.

That's a touching tribute. RI.P. Uwe. You will forever have the dual honours of both begatting Faust, and being denounced by Ulrike Meinhof for turning the magazine Konkret into "an instrument of the counter-revolution".
