I was one the bus the other day, and these kids were playing this stuff that consisted of a high pitched squaking female voice (the sound really bad old fashioned tape players could make as you ff or rwnd them) and a ridiculously manic, thin tinny thumpety drum beat.
I am a bit of a cultcha vultcha, and I do like to know or at least know of everything from the utter shite to the sweetly sublime.
These young teens were sooo into it, and managed to sing along - YES, sing along to it too.
I've heard this stuff somewhere before I'm sure (usually from rolled down car windows), but does anyone actually KNOW what it is?
