Cream, he talks over
the beginings of
the songs often
'til just before the
vocal starts...FUCK !!!

I dont recall
EVER hearing
John Peel
talk over the
music, now

I play a couple of tracks at my 60s night with Brian Matthew intros on them - I think they're quite sweet. I can imagine it might have seemed quite hip at the time to talk right up to the vocal. "It's time to go on a fishin' mission (or is that 'fission'?) with The Pretty Things!"

And of course he features on Zoology...
