So come on then... those of you who've received it already - what's it like? Any sign of a sound engineer this time?

Ordered mine yesterday so haven't heard it yet.

I'm getting that same old exasperated feeling whenever a new bit of Cope comes out these days where I'm hoping it's gonna be a real return to form but I know that in reality it's gonna be yet another potentially great collection of tracks which are mostly ruined by shitty mixing, crappily distorted vocals, drums that sound like dustbin lids being played inside a shipping container, guitars that sound like they are being played through the sound chip in a ZX Spectrum etc etc.

Been listening to Citizen Cained a lot recently and I've gotta be honest - I love it and it's a hell of a lot better than anything else he's put out since the days of a proper record deal but I still rue the fact that someone who knows how to use a mixing desk clearly didn't come within a mile of it.

So once again I await with baited breath....
