Right. Well I've had a good scour of all the shelves in Castle Calamity, but have drawn the line at going up into the roof where all the vinyl resides, these days and have come up with one stinker above all the others.

I have disregarded all the compilations put together by lazy hacks for the front of some sunday paper that my mother-in-law thought I might like. Where there's no theme or any reason 'Dead Ringer For Love' by Meatloaf might be followed by 'Ocean Drive' by The Lighthouse Family, then 'It's Not Unusual' by Tom Jones and so on. No, this is one where somebody has actually made an effort.


...and it stinks.

Yes I know she's dead and was a lovely and brave woman etc. but I can't bare this record. It wasn't my choice. I think my wife bought it out of curiosity after reading something about her.
