Oh, hell yeah...Victor Lundberg was definitely ahead of his time. The freepers would go batshit over his gibberish. What amazes me is that it's no low-end production...it's on Liberty, clearly done with session pros, etc.

The end-result, however, once you slam together the rightie ranting, the cheezeball background music, the production, etc...it's a fucking laugh-riot. We played this mess a few times on the New Music 'n' Trouble program that some friends and I did on the local community FM, and it never failed to crack us AND listeners up because it's just so goddamned absurd. The title track, which ends up with...

"...but if you burn your draft card, then that day, I will say, 'I HAVE NO SON'."

...is just such an overblown crock-o-shit that it's high comedy. But as for it being 'good'? Nofuckingway. It works solely because it's an overblown crock-o-shit.
