I can feel a great tribute album coming on here. Quo? Nepalm Death? The Stooges? The Coral?

Cool. Noticed he turned up at the TVPs gig at the 100 Club, incidentally ... were you there?

Yes - did you see the TVPs play "I Know Where Syd Barrett Lives?"

Yeah, I noticed he joined them onstage. That bit and the Bennett Brothers guesting for "Oxford Street" and "Part Time Punks" were the highlights for me

Not 100 percent sure what to make of the gig overall though, tbh, and I'm a fan. Hopefully the new LP will be a bit more together - seems like Dan Treacy has far more enthusiasm for the new stuff than the old.

Jowe joined them onstage for three songs, but was off by the time of "Syd". What happened there was the piano stool was in front of me, so I sneaked up and played piano on that track.

Ah, yes. He played "Salvador Dali's Garden Party" (which I notice was about to morph into "Denis", but got curtailed by Dan). Yeah, did notice an audience member getting onstage to play piano but I missed most of that song due to answering the call of nature! Dan didn;t seem too keen on playing that one, understandable if you take into account to audience members less than tactfully shouting "Syd Barrett" between songs.
