Extremely chuffed that a few cats out there remember Yeah Yeah Noh I've been mining for nuggets on headheritage since last century, but never thought i'd see my old band get a nod as the right kind of wrong kind psychedelia! Cheers for a very cool review Luv, Derek 'out of Yeah Yeah Noh'

Hi Derek Can you explain something that's been puzzling me? I was under the impression that Yeah Yeah Noh were connected to Birmingham University somehow since I thought my brother Ken Olende knew some of you from there. I'm now seeing you cited as being from Leicester or somewhere. Am I getting confused about another band with a similar name or were there Birmingham Uni alumni in the band? (could of course merely be down to my brother being on the university paper and being aware of you from there) Did you play a gig in 82 with the Playn Jayn at the University in Brum? Stevo
