Well bloody hell! I've just rediscovered World Party. "Is it like today" has really hit a groove this evening, and I've been playing it over and over. Some rare combination of texture and lyric is just making me want to hear it.

But I'm in easy listening mode anyway right now.
David Gray has a couple of tracks in my weekends soundtrack. Sail Away and Babylon. I'm starting to get a bit bored with him though so I shall pull out his bung, squeeze all his air out, fold him up, and lock him in a suitcase under my bed. Forever. Hahahahahahahahahaha.

What else?

Well Gong for a start.
Even more spacy is an album called Standing Stones, By Jon Mark.
I've also gone retro indie with the Pale Saints' "The Comforts of Madness", and even more retro with the Strawbs greatest hits. I think that should be Hit.
