Didn't catch the programme - what did it say?
My understanding was that Bolan made a load of offshore companies (see how often companies called things like 'Wizard (Bahamas) Ltd' get mentioned on his record sleeves), and the lack of cohesive organisational structure ahd everyhting farmed out and broken up, so when he died there wasn't a simple big fat estate to hand over.
As such, Marc's son Rolan has apparently seen sod all of the (presumably massive) money.

That was basically it.
Bolan hid money into offshore accounts to stop his ex-wife getting it.
He wasn't properly divorced when he died, so hadn't got round to sorting stuff for his new family.
Only money his son now gets is from a fund for his education.
So the money's there somewhere but the fact they can't find a second will means they can't sort it out and his second family get nowt.
Somebody somewhere must be sitting on it...
