Sad tale, but is a rock gig really the place for this? Surely it turns a serious issue into a freak show, and the band are definitely exploiting the situation. This could have been done in a much more dignified and private way.
Still the whole thing does really reek of a publicity stunt, so I'd be surprised if the guy even exists.
