"We are interested in talking to anyone who was a big fan of the punk craze in the 1970s. Did you play in a band – or just go to watch others? Who were your idols? What are your memories of being a teenager at that time? ITV’s This Morning is making a series about teenage memories of the last 50 years – and we are keen to include the 1970s punk phenomenon by talking to anyone who was a teenage fan in the late 1970s. The series will transmit in September on This Morning, ITV’s daily lifestyle show presented by Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield. The show has 15 million viewers a week. The deadline is quite close as we are keen to record an interview at our London studios on Thursday 4th September. If you are interested in speaking to us – or would just like a bit more information - please call Jemma Hurley on 020 7578 4175 or email her on [email protected]." ... Thought some folks here might be interested??? NP - Rancid 'Indestructible'. It's good!

I think the 'punk' above is an adjective not noun. (*ok, I know, not quite*)

Hopefully Philip Schofield will ask the assembled throng to prove punk is still relevant by saying something shocking in a Bill Grundy stylee...

Everyone of the right age from here should call up, and those they get on should all co-ordinate wearing "John Leslie is a fuckin' Rotter" T-shirts.
