Well now. It's 5 in the morning and I've had a flash of inspiration.
What I do is write fragments. thirty second long bits of music. They sound great or crap and then I get bored with them and go on to something else.
Yet I've been trying to write "songs". Things with a beginning a middle and an end. And failing. And getting pissed off and bored with music as a result.

I think I have attention deficit disorder. My beautiful Mistletoe thinks I'm dyspraxic. But this is irrelevant. My head says "Do this do that" and I do in little bits.

What is art? Why do we do what we do? Visually, some people make piles of bricks. Some people pickle sharks. Some people wrap buildings in plastic. Some make sculptures of corpses. If you do visual art, you don't have to do landscapes and portraits. If you do audio, you don't have to write songs. A revelation! Suddenly I have a direction! Embrace the fragments! See them as the way I choose to express myself!
