Congratulations to the people of Rochdale for electing George Galloway to parliament. It's not often that anything positive happens in Western politics. Hopefully this will be the start of a trend. Inspiring clip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7p7CAyxHgg Right on!

A totally untrustworthy fraud. Still, he managed to troll Starmer and Sunak hilarously. "Two cheeks of the same arse" - correctamundo! If Corbyn had employed George the bastard as his deputy / fixer, he might be PM right now. I refuse to take a position on Israel v. Palestine / Hamas. It's not my business, and I would never align myself or march for either side. A plague on both their houses.
It's not Israel v. Palestine/Hamas but Israel vs. most of its neighbors. At the same time the IDF is shooting Palestinians at Israel-designated aid drops in Gaza, its expanding settlements in the West Bank, bombing Syria, and getting ready for a full-on war with Lebanon. In such a situation, it's pretty easy to pick sides.

I could never stand alongside idiots waving banners with hangliders celebrating that, anymore than I could support Israel's entirely predictable retaliation.

In any case, the overwhelming majority of those currently being starved, displaced, and killed by Israel had nothing to do with the Oct. 7 attack.
I meant you neglected to mention that event in your first and second posts. Hamas is Palestine's Govt, and Oct 07 was a declaration of War. Bad shit was bound to happen. Or were you surprised? Maybe a "Palestinians against Hamas" movement could gain some traction? Or maybe Putin should intervene to "De-Natzify" the entire region? To clarify, I find both the Israel Govt and Hamas to be equally repugnant.

Galloway was a lockdown and vaccine pusher. He wanted a "China style" tyrannical response, sealed doors, starvation and all. Surprise, surprise! You'd almost be forgiven for thinking he was on the CCP payroll. Say it ain't so Gorgeous George!

My review of Galloway's courage, strength, indefatigability and 50 year political grift: "Shit Sandwich" Enjoy!

It's unfortunate Galloway got deluded by the Covid hysteria, but then again, so did most people, at least at first. I hope he's no longer pushing the vax now. Today I'm more concerned about avoiding WWIII than in arguing about who got it right or wrong with Covid. I like Galloway because of his classic leftist stance - pro-working class and anti-imperialist. Hopefully his election will kickstart a much-needed leftist revival, in Britain and elsewhere.

'Hamas is Palestine's Govt, and Oct 07 was a declaration of War. Bad shit was bound to happen. Or were you surprised?' A country under occupation cannot declare war against its occupier. It's resistance. I make no judgement about the nature of that resistance on Oct 7th, the full truth of which will probably never be known, but you fail to recognise the context in which those events happened.
