Frankly I used to think like that until Sandy Hook. Sure I'm just as concerned about heavy-handed cops as anyone but we live in the age when any psycho can have access to a dangerous weapon and kill children.
What is really burning me up now is not even that. The more recent killings seem to be inspired by a book that originally came out in the 90s and first published by someone I made the mistake of giving lip-service to (ie Michael Moynihan originally known as Coup De Grace and now a founding member of Blood Axis.) Actually, in the clear reality seen outside the US it's not the press or books or training or mental health it's people legally carrying bloody guns. I'm a good age and I've never seen a hand gun. Imagine that. We're universes apart.
