James O'Brien LBC

Been listening to his LBC show through TiVo box for the past few weeks now, after seeing him on Newsnight.
Saw him here and there on other things, always liked the cut of his jib.
Still and always will struggle with commercial radio (nails down a blackboard, adverts always louder than rest of effing show) but I think he's just awfully good at what he does, so just turn ads down until we get back to it.
Anyone else?

Not really. Loves the sound of his own voice, for the most part covers irrelevant topics on his show regardless of what may be dominating the news. He tends to avoid the main issues like the plague.
Well known animal hater/hunt supporter etc, etc too.
And 'the mystery hour' say no more.
Strangely, Do like him on the box though! But his radio show is 3 hour's of self satisfied, bleeding heart bollocks.

This is quite awesome.

The little creep in question loses the plot trying to defend the govt over Saudi arms deals.
Soon as someone starts blaming a 'right wing' or 'left wing' BBC (for they can't both be right) you know they've lost their argument.

He's a good thing in the London media (not that the bar is set very high). Less keen on watching him badger and talk over people on Newsnight. Unless they are Tories of course.
