Is that sarcasm? It's about time that music and politics got in bed together again. Peace x.

Sarcasm?
No, I find what's went on up here an absolute joke, but not a funny one.
When Steve Coogan said on the Labour Party Broadcast a week back that 'cynicism never built a school or a hospital' he was telling the truth.
But when people vote for a 20 year old who professes to want to smash Celtic fans and tell everyone how blootered she was the other night over voting for the likes of Douglas Alexander (you know, the sort who does make sure we get hospitals and schools etc) what they are doing is beyond cynicism it is a sort of mass mesmerism.
If a country was left to be run by the likes of that how long do you think we'd last?
All this SNP surge is nothing more than a post referendum hangover and a result of FPTP and in a way (coz it is all around me) an apathy that has kicked in where there are those painted as 'real' Scots and 'unionists'.
Unionist?
I was just born here and live here, why am I being asked to consider myself some other whole new thing?
Read over Ian's posts, he is utterly correct in many ways.

I work in a psych hospital. Our Consultant said to me once. 'Cynics are good people'. Idealists who have been happy slapped by reality.

You cry, I'm laughing! Typical sour grapes from a Red Tory Loser. Nationalism + Socialism = Germany 1933 huh? How original! Been hearing that particular tune from Labour muppets since Thatcher was in power. Standing on the same platform as the Tories will tend to reap this kind of result when the Scootish people get a chance to express their revulsion at the ballot box. You're on tbe wrong side of history. You lot promised us a Labour victory on May 6th if we voted "'NO" . Another lie.

Still, I'm sure Jim Murphy & Kezia will have you back on your feet in no time. Chin up!
