Yep, I watched both of those. The first one was the most interesting I think, just for the interview of 'curveball'. I've no idea how Peter Taylor managed to stop himself from repeatedly punching that bastard in the face. 'We went to war in Iraq based on false intelligence ?' 'Yes' *smile* 'Your false intelligence ?' 'Yes' *slight snigger*.
Christ why didn't he just start reading the numbers of dead Iraqi civilians at him, but then he'd probably just have openly laughed.
It was interesting how all the intelligence services spoken to seemed to be claiming that they still rely on 'field agents'. Whereas in the first few years post 9/11 you would be constantly tripping over ex-CIA and ex-MI6 people bitching about how the Intelligence Services were cutting down on field agents (and therefore becoming more and more clueless about reality) in favour of intelligence gathering online in the comfort of their homelands.

Yes "Curveball". He'd be a boo-hiss villain ("There's always collateral damage in War Bud, you know that" type) in a movie but it was all the more monstrous 'cos it was real. Type of thing makes you want to have a shower after you've seen it.
