Hey, make your own points and apply your latitudes. I, the "idiot", like you, am expressing my own point of view.
If you don't agree...I can handle it.

Anyone notice the official line re the 'riot stats'?
Seems 35% of those convicted were 'out of work' which means that 65%, a big hunk of the majority, were in work.
EDIT: Of course, the 35% figure was the one emphasised on 'the news'.
So is it the 'feral employed' we have to fear now?

Quite the opposite is the case as far as I can see. If 10% of the population is unemployed, and 30% of the rioters were unemployed, then the unemployed are statistically punching well above their weight.

Well those court figures are just the 'facts of the day' it seems.
Take facts as you will I suppose.
Another one they trumpeted was that a fifth prosecuted were aged between 10 and 17, so unreportedly that means 4/5ths were what we'd call 'adults'.
Yet all the concern remember back then was about 'feral youth' etc, and all the camera shots were equally as impeccable.
EDIT: I know too statistically more people in the UK are adults than are chuldren, but the 'grand narrative of things' ain't my concern here - it's media inference.
