Well dodge, I think the point is that the terrorists didn't kindly write their own addresses on the bombs. So if there's a return address, chances are it's just some random innocent person.

Also, sending bombs through the post runs the risk of having it go off early... in the cargo-hold of a plane or in the hands of a postal worker.

Geoffrey's point is well made... your suggestion of just "returning to sender" would likely end up killing some innocent person. In other words, it'd be an act of terrorism.

I very much doubt anyone believes you actually support that. You were joking, or you were serious but wrote it without thinking it through. Either way, nobody's really calling you a terrorist.
