Countdown to Obama Inauguration

Well, just two more days and we have a new president - to me, it only seems fitting that Obama will be sworn in the day after Martin Luther King Day.
Meanwhile, while many people in the US are still struggling economically, Dubya will likely be retiring to a life of luxury on his ranch in Crawford, Texas. Food for thought.

Actually, he's moving into a rich neighborhood down in another town near Houston, I think.
We can only hope that Karma works, right?

I'm actually getting a bit worried about this now. The build up is almost messianic in tone and I'm getting the feeling that if Obama fails to turn water into wine in his first few months it's gonna be backlash central.
I do, however, believe that America and the World deserves a day of hope and potential. Fingers crossed.
Hoping for the best, but not the impossible...yet. x
